Our Secret Spot (OSS) – Sydneys best swingers club – has introduced a new rule – no smart glasses allowed. I think that this is a sensible precaution to protect people in these sort of spaces.
If you aren’t aware, smart glasses have a camera in their frames and are able to take photos and video.
If you wear glasses (as I do for reading) then on arrival you must submit your glasses for inspection and have a special sticker put on each arm so that people will know that your glasses are safe during the night if you need to wear them.
Smart phones must also be handed in on arrival for return when you leave.
I really like that OSS take these issues seriously. Whether you are seasoned swingers, or new to the scene, you need to be able to have confidence that your privacy and security are being respected and protected.
So thank you OSS! It makes me really happy that you are looking out for the community.
This is probably a good moment to also say that if you are making a booking with us then please do not wear smart glasses. We will always respect your privacy and we expect the same from you.
